1. Services

Wag Management provides residential pet waste cleanup services on a one-time, weekly, or bi-weekly basis as agreed upon during booking.

Service includes removal of pet waste from accessible areas of the yard and secure bagging of collected waste.

2. Initial Cleanup

For new clients, an initial cleanup feemay apply if significant waste accumultation is present. This fee reflects the additional time required to bring the yard to a maintainable condition for recurring service.

Initial cleanup fees will be communicated prior to service.

3. Access to Property

Clients are responsible for providing safe and unobstructed access to the yard at the time of service.

• Gates must be unlocked.

• Pets must be secured indoors or away from the service area.

• The yard must be reasonably accessible and safe to enter.

If access is not available at the scheduled time (including locked gates or unsecured pets), the visit may be charged as a completed service.

4. Safety & Animal Policy

For the safety of your pets and our team:

• All animals must be secured during service, unless otherwise agreed.

• Wag Management reserves the right to skip service if a pet is loose and poses a safety risk.

• Clients are responsible for disclosing any known animal behavior concerns.

5. Weather & Environmental Conditions

Service may be postponed due to:

• Severe weather

• Lightning or storms

• Extreme temperatures

• Hazardous yard conditions

If a service visit is postponed due to weather or safety concerns, Wag Management will complete the service on the next scheduled visit or as soon as conditions allow.

Weather related delays or limitations in waste removal do not qualify for service refunds or credits.

6. Yard Conditions

Clients are responsible for notifying Wag Management of any conditions that may affect safe access to the yard, including but not limited to:

• Yard hazards (holes, debris, unstable fencing, sharp objects, etc.)

• Locked gates or restricted access

Wag Management is not responsible for any pre-existing property damage.

If snow coverage is present, Wag Management will make reasonable efforts to remove visible pet waste. Wag Management does not shovel or remove snow to locate waste. Any waste that cannot be located due to snow coverage will be removed during future visits as the snow melts and conditions permit.

Pet waste that is excessively soft, liquid or spread into grass or soil may not be fully removed during service visits. Wag Management will make reasonable efforts to remove such waste where possible; however, complete removal cannot always be guaranteed.

Waste that cannot be effectively removed due to its consistency may naturally break down or will be addressed during future service visits where possible.

Clients are responsible for maintaining their yard in a condition that allows for safe and effective waste removal. This includes keeping grass at a manageable height and ensuring the yard is reasonably free of excessive clutter, debris, or obstacles that could prevent access or visibility of pet waste.

If yard conditions limit the ability to locate or safely remove waste, Wag Management will remove what can reasonably be found, and remaining waste will be addressed during future service visits once conditions improve.

7. Missed Waste Policy

Wag Management makes every effort to thoroughly clean each yard; however, occassional missed waste may occur due to factors such as tall grass, leaves, snow coverage or waste deposited after service.

If a client notices missed waste, they must notify Wag Management within 24 hours of the service visit. Wag Management will make reasonable efforts to return and address the concern or ensure it is removed during the next scheduled service visit.

Missed waste does not qualify for service refunds.

8. Service Verification

Wag Management may maintain service records for each visit, including notes, timestamps or photos where applicable. These records may be used to verify details about a scheduled service and that a service visit was completed.

A \"Service Completed\" text will be sent after each visit, with a yard and gate secured picture attached.

If a client believes a scheduled service was missed they must notify Wag Management within 24 hours of the scheduled service time so the matter can be reviewed.

9. Service Frequency

If service is skipped at the client's request or due to lack of access, accumulated waste may result in additional charges for the next visit.

10. Waste Disposal

Collected waste is securely bagged and placed in the client’s designated garbage bin unless otherwise agreed.

11. Payment Authorization

By booking services with Wag Management and providing payment information, the client authorizes Wag Management to charge the selected payment method for scheduled services, applicable fees and any charges outlined in theses Terms & Conditions.

12. Payment Terms

Payment is due according to the selected billing schedule.

By booking services with Wag Management and providing payment information, the client authorizes Wag Management to charge the selected payment method according to the agreed billing schedule for services and applicable fees.

• Late payments may result in paused service.

• Returned or declined payments may incur applicable fees.

Wag Management reserves the right to adjust pricing with reasonable notice.

13. Cancellations & Service Changes

• 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellation of scheduled service.

• Ongoing service may be cancelled with written notice.

• Clients who prepay for recurring services and choose to cancel before the end of the prepaid term will be refunded only for the value of service visits that have not yet been completed. Refunds will not include visits/services already performed.

• Refunds for prepaid services will be calculated based on the standard per-visit rate.

• Same-day cancellations may be charged.

14. Liability

Wag Management carries commercial general liability insurance.

However:

• We are not responsible for escaped pets due to faulty or damaged gates.

• We are not responsible for injuries resulting from undisclosed hazards.

• Service is limited to visible and accessible areas of the yard.

15. Independent Operation

Wag Management operates as an independently owned Alberta business. Team members may include student workers. All services are performed under company insurance coverage.

16. Right to Refuse Service

Wag Management reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time due to unsafe conditions, aggressive animals, non-payment, repeated access issues, or other circumstances that prevent safe and effective service.

17. Sanitation Biosecurity

Wag Management follows professional sanitation practices to help reduce cross-contamination between properties.

Team members wear protective gloves and tools are routinely cleaned and disinfected as part of operational standards.

Clients acknowledge that outdoor environments involve inherent exposure risks. Wag Management does not guarantee prevention of illness transmission among animals.

Clients agree to notify Wag Management of any known contagious pet illnesses prior to service.

18. Agreement

By booking service with Wag Management, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
